Duration: March 2024 (4 Weeks)

Type: Nonprofit, Pro Bono, Print Design

My Role: Graphic Designer

The Nava Center

About: The Nava Center is a nonprofit that provides access to affordable therapy, and focuses on antiracism training.

Goal: I collaborated with the founder, Jessica, on designing a brochure to promote their trauma healing workshops for people of the global majority.

Branding

I had access to their logo and a few existing marketing materials, from which I pulled brand elements to guide the brochure.

Layout Design

I brainstormed layout ideas by sketching, chose favorite layouts, and designed them digitally on Illustrator.

Visual Design

To bring the layout to life, I refined it with branding elements such as color, typography, and imagery.

What They Had To Say

“Jennifer was amazing! She really took time to understand the project and our organization. She was collaborative and open to feedback. She was able to create what we wanted using the tools we provided and then took it to the next level with her own creativity.”

- Jessica S., President & Founder of The Nava Center
